pattern mixing

clutch: Louis Vuitton | cape: NastyGal | loafers: Prada

More patterns and pink. There is nothing I don't love about every aspect of this look. And I mean these Prada wingtip loafers that I got for a steal on Bluefly. I have never loved a shoe more.. I kid you not, I start everyday with either an all white or black base for my looks and go from there. I have been antsy to wear these loafers, Damier clutch/bag, and cape coat so I figured why not.

Here's to a perfect Galentine's Day!

shape up

flats: Valentino | skirt: Topshop | crop: H&M | sunnies: Prada

Who doesn't love Grease? I sure do. We can now all channel our inner Sandy with the off-shoulder-crop-top trend! Yahoo. How 50's are full skirts anyways. I particularly am infatuated with this one. I must admit though, I have had reoccurring dreams of Ted Baker's full floral skirt for quite some time. I first wore this skirt and ballerinas on Christmas day paired with a high neck sweater. Iridescent is far too fun to pass up on. Shop more spectrum inspired items below.

Jimmy Choo pumps

 Alexander Wang bucket bag

Acne blouse (with matching shorts)

statement pieces

necklace: Free People | denim: Levi's | shoes: NastyGal

This look is no departure from my usual, but I think it's so important to find looks that feel organic and comfortable to you. Lately, I've been drawn to darker and more dramatic color schemes. I haven't been one to dress for comfort, but I have been finding a nice balance. I'm so obsessed with this necklace and those akin to it. A nice piece of hardware for the neck, right? Fashion so strange sometime, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Free People always has a great selection of accessories, especially those chunky necklaces. (click the link to shop)

caped + sequined

booties: Zara | skirt: BCBG | button-up: Max Azria

Another Valentine's Day look possibly. With the nausea-inducing love day approaching I have been more inclined to incorporate more pink tones into my wardrobe. Whether your planning on spending this Friday with your s/o or heading to a "I hate love" fest with your gals I would deem something along these lines as appropriate. If festive dressing isn't your style I suggest lots, and I mean lots of black with a deep purple lip. Whatever your doing this Saint Valentine's Hallmark holiday, enjoy it!!

What are you planning on wearing Friday?

black 'n gold

belt: BCBG | boots: Jeffrey Campbell | bag: Saint Laurent

I'm not the biggest fan of high-lows, however boot leggings can always change my mind. The gold lazer-cut and tassel details are my favorite. I feel as though gold should certainly be incorporated into every ensemble, but I really went for it today!

Tell me what you think!

jumpsuit inspired

hat: UO | trousers: Zara | shoes: Topshop

I'm all about menswear inspired looks. I am mixed on the idea of a jumpsuit revival, however this faux version feels just fine to me. If I could don this hat and trousers everyday I would. I was inspired by a certain Calvin Klein jumpsuit with kin hardware accents.

How do you feel about the comeback of the jumpsuit (or its simulation)?

It's sunny again (kinda)

loafers: Gucci | skirt: Zara

The shining star of this post is obviously these 60th anniversary Gucci iridescent loafers. The bold spectrum of these babies can tie together anything, and has quickly become my staple piece. Simplicity is key when building off of such a unique shoe, so I went for my favorite Brandy tee and perfect Zara skirt.

I'd say this would be a great day look for the 14th!

Love to hear what you think of this spin on the loafer!

prada or nada

I've died and gone to a Prada-filled heaven.

sandals: Prada | necklace: Free People | jeans: DL1961 | top: Zara | crossbody: Prada | sunglasses: Prada

I'll be the first to admit I have gone off the deep end in a pool of Prada. For whatever the reason I have loved everything that has come out of the Italian fashion house as of late. I was very skeptical of the current 'slide' sandals that have been appearing just about everywhere, but these patent leather white peds hailing from the sport collection won me over on the Birkenstock inspired trend.

I have recently watched The Devil Wears Prada because what else would a Pradaddict (Prada-addict) be drawn to watch? This then reminding me of a darling coat Anna Wintour dawned earlier this month to HBO's Girls Premiere, which by no surprise was shown in Prada's SS '14 collection. In this line of thinking I was then brought back to the remembrance that a certain editor-in-chief (intentionally?) wore Prada to said Meryl Streep film premiere. In the end Anna always wins.

In other exciting news, I've had some major changes this year so I figured why stop with my hair?
